Animals enjoy greater rights than Republicans give illegal aliens...

H.R. 4437, the Border Protection, Anti-Terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005, denies any form of assistance, even medical care, to illegal aliens. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has condemned H.R. 4437, calling it an “extremely punitive bill which is far broader than illegal immigration and, if enacted, would unduly harm immigrants and their families, even those who are currently lawful residents."

Yet, Rep. Bobby Jindal and Rep. Charles Boustany, both Catholics, voted in favor of H.R. 4437. When leaders, like Boustany and Jindall, show no respect for human life, others are bound to follow with deadly results.

Guillermo Martinez, an 18-year-old kid from Guadalajara, Mexico, was shot to death trying to sneak into the U.S. But, even animals enjoy greater rights than Republicans – and Catholic Republicans at that – are willing to give illegal aliens.

Mexico’s Foreign Relations Secretary, Luis Ernesto Derbez, has called H.R. 4437 "stupid and underhanded." Mexico’s President, Vicente Fox, has called it “shameful.” But, Democrats say H.R. 4437 is pure barbarism, but is to be expected from an out of control Republican administration who uses the “war on terror” to terrorize.
