When Pres. Bush said he didn’t know Jack Abramoff, I guess he thought he’d get away with it.

Today, Reuter’s reported, “Jack Abramoff said in correspondence [to Kim Eisler] made public…that Bush met him ‘almost a dozen’ times.”

Abramoff wrote to Kim Eisler:

“The guy [Pres. Bush] saw me in almost a dozen settings, and joked with me about a bunch of things, including details of my kids. Perhaps he has forgotten everything, who knows.”
